It’s arrived

I am so excited that my book arrived today.  It is the ‘Bag making Bible’ by Lisa Lam.

Cover lots of details, ideal for beginners to advanced.  Worth a read if you get the chance

This is my first post as the Sew Wattscreative, hello to all viewers.

OK, so the current project I am working on is a Tote bag, as part of the Stand up and ‘Tote’ notice 2016 swap. The pattern is from Two Pretty Poppets collection, which can be found here Stand up and Tote Notice Pattern from Two Pretty Poppets

This is only my second tote bag, and a bit more complex than the first beach tote I made, but so far so good, it’s coming together nicely.

I am using some fabric that I had stashed away, that I have had for a while and the colours, well, they are pretty conservative – shades of blue, but I have an exciting focal piece!  Watch this space for the finished article!
